Awaking From A Dream

A second chance at life and love, sealed by the sign of a dove.

· · ·

Like awaking from a dream,
I am unsure of where I have been.
Feels like so much time has passed,
Feels like my heart has begun to mend.
Seeing clearly the man I was before,
So grateful for the changes in my life.
Knowing now that I am a better man,
Knowing now a chance to have a wife.
Feeling loved and raptured by His divine care,
Like I have a second change at life and love.
Some how grateful for my mistakes,
For they opened my eyes to see above
Myself and my worldly concerns and cares,
For I now realize what God wants me to be.
Seeing clearly the real future I want
Seeing clearly the women God made for me.
And through this life I will go,
Constantly wrapped in her arms of love,
Sharing the rest of my life with her
Being sealed by the sign of a dove
For with her by my side
No stronger could I ever be.
Desiring to completely forsake myself,
Desiring to be with her for eternity.

“Desiring to be with her for eternity.”
