Angel's Breath

Hours lost, then found in a single holy breath.

· · ·

By the breath of angels I've been told
What a marvelous gift you are to hold.
Beauty like no other I've know,
From you face is softly shown.
For countless hours my heart has been lost-
Gazing into your eyes from the bridge I have crossed.
A perfect smile glares back at me,
Thank You God
, this is where I want to be.
When I am with you, how at peace I feel.
With your beauty and love, my heart you did steal.
Now I'm trapped with no where to go,
The image of your face engraved upon my soul.
When I close my eyes, this image is before my mind.
I am forever grateful that you I did find.
How would my life be were you not by my side?
Of this I wish not to think - for misery I've already tried.

“For countless hours my heart has been lost—”
