Issue 06 · One poem
Destiny
Two lives braided by a will larger than chance.
Through the hands of destiny you and I have met.
Although separated by time, my heart will not relent.
Feeling as though you and I are one, like I have known you since time began.
Unsure of what may come from this connection, just knowing of this eternal band
Which exists between you and I, connecting us across time.
I find myself unprepared for these emotions,
For you are the first and last thought that crosses my mind
Each day we grow closer, and the more connected we become.
How much longer can we resist until to our passions we succumb.
Scared of my heart, I have almost forgotten just what it is for.
Enjoying each and every second I spend with you, desperately wanting to have more.
I dream of your kiss, and long to hold you next to me.
Hoping and praying with all my heart, that a future together we may see.
But until that time, patiently I will wait.
To see what destiny has planed, to see our final fate.
