Your Love Is The Sun

A grin that cannot hide what the heart already knows.

· · ·

Your love is like the sun,
But it warms me from deep within.
Anytime you walk in to a room,
My face is helpless to hide its boyish grin.
Your beauty is complete in every way,
You are perfect in body, mind, and soul.
As I gaze in to your beautiful blue eyes,
It is of your friendship that I know
we are connected,
Our spirits bonded by our past.
Continually I plea before my maker,
That our friendship will always last.
The warmth I gather from your internal light,
Speaks volumes of peace unto my soul.
In this light I looking at my own life,
And for the first time I feel I am in control
of my destiny and of my past,
For all things have become as one.
For I am healed from the pains of my past,
In the patience of your love them I did overcome.
So I pray that your light,
May always burn deep within mine.
So we can lead and uphold each other,
And give unto God of our time.
Time to wrought His will in our lives,
Time to change us as he may.
That He will knock off the rough edges,
As he molds and shapes our lives I continually pray.
For I love you with all that I am,
And give unto you my life,
That together our hearts my stay intertwined,
That some day I might be blessed to have you as my wife.

“My face is helpless to hide its boyish grin.”
