Do I Know You

Premortal recognition on a cold new world.

· · ·

Do I know you?
I came out alone into a cold new world.
Not knowing a soul, just a field needing to be furrowed.
As time went on I made some new friends,
and I'm not quite sure to what will be our end.
To some I grew close in just a matter of time.
With some I know I've felt the hand of the divine.
As we talked our souls did thus implore
asking each other,
Haven't we met before?
It seems as if we've known each other for all time.
But that's impossible! For you I did barely find.
And then I remember, the plan of our father,
we he all created- we are his sons and daughters.
Before this world was, in Gods courts on high,
we all lived together, especially you and I.
Then sent down to Earth,
with a promise that you I would find.
A promise that I kept, to bring you back with me.
To help remove the dark mist, to help your eyes to see.
Now in crystal daylight, we see and know for sure,
the reason that we feel we've known each other before.

“Haven't we met before?”

Do I Know You
