Wounded Heart

Bleeding again, praying the angel returns.

· · ·

My Wounded Heart
With a wounded heart I'm left here bleeding once again.
Harrowing up the pains of a lost love because of my past sins.
Now I must learn to walk, step by step again.
Trying to not to run from where my heart has been.
With one breath I felt a love, perfect, complete, and true.
With another I felt this pain, for she is in love with someone new.
I pray that God will grant the simples desires of my heart.
That I am not left to suffer with my soul torn apart.
How could I ever think of loving someone new?
For no one can compare, with what with she and I once knew.
For she was the one, with whom I was to spend the rest of time.
But because of my foolish pride, without her I may have to reside.
Dear Lord hear my cries, and grant me this miraculous event.
Return my heart to this angel whom in to my life you once sent.
I now know of my faults, and have been humbled by this trial.
Never again will I allow myself to love while my heart is in denial.
For I now know so clearly what I want present in my life
For in my heart there is no question that she should be my wife.
I cry mightily dear Lord that she will return unto me.
I ask for thy forgiveness, and pray that my desires may be.
Granted unto me, that my heart may begin to mend.
That I may be reconnected with this angel whom thou didst send.
To be a part of my life and enhance my very soul
To help make me complete and achieve my ultimate goal.
That with her I may once again return to live with thee
For this trial has been a blessing and has allowed my eyes to see
My faults and my flaws and has helped me overcome my past
For I have put away hate and anger so now my love will last
And with this love I am filled, like a cup it overflows.
I desire to share it with her so she will always know.
That my paradise she is and I pray that she will always be.
Dear Lord turn her heart and entrust her love to me.

“With a wounded heart I'm left here bleeding once again.”
