Silence

Her face, and the pain that answers it.

In Silence
Every time I see her face, a pain I feel inside.
My heart becomes a hopeless case, in the valley of sorrow it abides.
She is so beautiful, that my eyes can not bear the sight.
I will live a life unfulfilled because I never held her tight.
Why must life be this way, and play this cruel trick on me.
Seeing the one I love everyday, knowing with her I will never be.
Using tactics clever for my every try.
Rejection was her answer, without a word she said goodbye.
Now at last I've lost every hope,
My time has past, I'm at the end of my rope.
How can I stand to look, and see her everyday.
When she causes my heart to stir and my feeling to get in the way.
Destined to live a life without joy, I will somehow carry on.
Realizing I was only a toy, or simply in her game a pawn.

“Every time I see her face, a pain I feel inside.”
