Mirror Image

Looking in — and meeting the man you are becoming.

· · ·

As I look into the mirror I see my own reflection,
An image that I have seen a hundred times before.
But this time as I looked at the image before my eyes,
I must have looked much deeper because I now see so much more.
Smile
love, happiness
Ears
listening
Eyes
twinkle, gleam
Air about me
sprit, approachable, personality
Looking closer at my face and gaze upon my own lips,
When a smile starts to escape from their grasp and begin to loom.
A familiar smile full of love and kindness,
The kind of smile that can brighten up a room.
I now stare deep in to my own eyes,
I see the mistakable power
Even though I was a teacher, I was truly the student
You taught me how to love

As I look into the mirror I see my own reflection,
As I look into the mirror I see my own reflection,

“As I look into the mirror I see my own reflection,”
