Fifty Times

Beauty counted past any modest limit.

· · ·

To express to you your beauty, fifty times is not enough,
For such an imposing limitation, is making it very tough
To address all of the ways that I am enamored by your soul,
I am finding it hard to reach this vain and lofty goal.
So may these feeble words succeed where I have failed,
To attempt to capture the splendor of the perfect female.

“Only fifty times a day? No, this will never do!”

Fifty Times

For each time I see, your perfectly gorgeous face,
I try to catch my breath, as my heart begins to race.
Then you smile that smile at me, and melt my beating heart,
I become afraid to move, worried that I will fall apart.
Then you hold me in your arms, and hug me tight towards you,
Surrounded by your peace, I feel my strength renewed.

Then I look into your eyes, long and deep I gaze,
Overwhelmed by your beauty, I feel completely amazed
That I am lucky enough to be, here in this moment with you,
Feeling unworthy of this gift, not knowing what to do.
Every moment like perfection, all things created a new.
So contently I give in, lost into their deep blue.

Then I put my hands around your back, and pull you close to me.
I kiss you on your lips, in an effort to help you see,
I try and open up your mind, I try to help illuminate the scene,
For this is the best way for me, to express exactly what I mean.
Only fifty times a day? No, this will never do!
It is just not enough, to express how much I love you.
