Heart

The organ that speaks before the mind catches up.

· · ·

"I've never felt like this before", my heart seems to say.
For I have found a special love, if my feeling don't get in the way.
When I think of you, all cares seem to slip away.
From this evil world, I'm rescued day by day.
Taken from this place, to celestial plans on high.
There I remember why I'm here, and where I wish to reside.
"I've never felt like this before", my heart seems to say.
With your splash of color, you have covered all of my grays.
What would life be like, with out you by my side.
Of this I shutter to think, and plead that you'll be my guide.
With your strength and love, I feel a chance to start a new.
With you right beside me, I know all things I can do.
"I've never felt like this before", my heart seems to say.
I love to have you near me, I wish that you could stay.
Never before have I found someone,
who I can talk to until the rising sun.
Every thought, dream, and idea; I express before your soul.
Knowing that you'll approve, and help me reach my goals.
"I've never felt like this before", my heart seems to say.
I will always treasure you friendship, until my final day.
Until that day comes in to view,
I will always have a true friend in you.
Please know that I love you, which thing will always be.
I've always wanted a sister, I'm glad you're here with me.

“I've never felt like this before, my heart seems to say.”
